Audience measurement: Anonymization and the right to information

Jean-Guy de Ruffray analyses the 8 February 2017 decision wherein the French Conseil d’Etat expressed its view on the concept of personal data anonymization.  This decision deserves the attention of jurists as well as actors in the internet of things, big data and behavioral advertising.

The article, entitled  “Personal Data. Audience Measurement: Anonymization and the right to information  (Données personnelles. Mesures d’audience : anonymisation et droit à l’information)”was published in the May 2017 issue of the journal Expertises des systèmes d’information .
