Altana assisted the Sun’R group, specialized in photovoltaism and agrivoltaism, in a fundraising, instrumental for its future growth.

The purpose of reshaping the shareholder base is to accelerate the group’s growth and in so doing, to reaffirm its position as a market leader, leaving its mark not only in the fields of energetic transition, but also agricultural transition and ecological transition.

This transaction, which sets the group’s pre-money valuation at more than 30 M€, has been conducted by RGreen Invest, the Crédit Agricole through its subsidiaries IDIA Capital Investissement and Sofilaro, as well as Bpifrance.

With the recent success encountered during the latest calls for tenders by the Energy Regulatory Commission, the group plans to multiply its turnover by five over a five year period through its subsidiaries Sun ‘Agri, Sun’R Power and Volterres, which allows for a unique vertical integration on the market from upstream to downstream of the renewable energy sector.

Through this transaction, Altana demonstrated once again its strong expertise in strategic operations for innovative leading companies, especially in the renewable energy sector.

The Altana team which assisted Sun’R in this transaction consisted of Jean-Nicolas Soret, Géraldine Malfait and Eléonore Vucher-Bondet.

Cazals Manzo Pichot Saint Quentin advised Sun’R on the tax aspects of the transaction.

Sun’R was advised by Finergreen and Gottengreen on the financial aspects.

The new shareholders, IDA, Sofilaro, RGREEN and Bpifrance were advised by the Gide M&A team and by Taj-Deloitte for the tax aspects.
