The Local Government Open Data Forum is an associated event to the Open Government partnership global summit, that France welcomed early December. The state cannot be the only player in the open-government and territories have their role to play, for instance in the economic field where local authorities are in contact with firms that manage public services.

The event that took place at the Automobile Club de France on Tuesday, December 6, aims to discuss local open data issues’, with elected representatives, private companies, french and international legal experts.

Alongside Altana, personalities such as Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux, delegate vice-president of MEDEF, Bertrand Serp, president of Opendata France and Jean-Marc Lazard, president of OpenDataSoft spoke.
