Four Associates Promoted to Counsel at Altana

Since its inception, Altana has made the training of its associates a priority, and has emphasized in-house promotion. The partners of Altana are thus very pleased to announce the promotion of four associates to Counsel:

Julie Cornely (Mergers & Acquisitions), Laetitia Daage (Criminal Law), Marie Davy (Corporate Litigation, Contractual Negotiation) and Benoît Van Bésien (Economic and Competition Law).

These promotions demonstrate the firm’s commitment to cultivating the talent and fostering the professional development of its best associates.

Julie holds a Master’s degree in Common Law (Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas) and an LLM from Louisiana State University (USA). She was previously an associate at Landwell & Associés and Reed Smith LLP before joining Altana in November 2011.

Laetitia holds Master’s degrees in both Criminal Law (Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas), and Health Law – Medical Liability (Université Paris XI – Sceaux) and is also a graduate of the Criminology Institute of Paris. Previously an associate at Proskauer Rose, she has been with Altana since its creation in November 2009.

Marie holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law (Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas) and an LLM in European Law and Corporate Law (Kings College, London). Previously an associate at Jean Dolivet, she later joined the teams at Salans and has been with Altana since its creation in November 2009.

Benoît holds a Doctorate in Law and a Masters in Community Law (Université Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne). He was previously an associate at BCTG & Associates before joining Altana in October 2011.
